SCB Securities Co., Ltd. Director and Executive Appointment

         Bangkok--9 May--SCB Securities
         SCB Securities Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of new director and executive of the company as follows:

         It was resolved in the Board of Directors' meeting on 7th May 2008 to appoint Mr. Boonchai Sriprachaya-Anunt as director and Chief Executive Officer of SCB Securities Co., Ltd. This appointment has been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission, which is effective from 8 May 2008. Mr. Adisorn Sermchaiwong, appointed by Siam Commercial Bank to fill the CEO and director seat of SCB Securities Co., Ltd. over the past period, will resume his position as the Executive Vice President and Head of the Saving and Investment Products Division of Siam Commercial Bank PCL.
         Mr. Boonchai Sriprachaya-Anunt, appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of SCB Securities Co., Ltd., received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Chulalongkorn University and master’s degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and obtained the Dean's Award. He has been recognized as an investment banking and securities veteran with extensive experience over 16 years in the country’s leading securities companies. His contributions to the success of capital market transactions are proven. His strong capabilities woven with the solid teamwork of SCB Securities Co., Ltd. will lead the company to the forefront of securities industry and strengthen Siam Commercial Bank's core strategy to become "The Premier Universal Bank" as planned.
